Biochemical changes in rice plants due to application of bioinoculant, organic product, plant activator and moculation of Pyricularia oryzae

چکیده
Rice continues to be the major staple food crop for human population. With the twin forces of population growth and economic expansion particularly in Asia, world rice requirements are expected to increase by 1.7 per cent annually between 1990 and 2025. Although seemingly small, this growth rate translates into an additional requirement of 13 million tonnes of rice per year. With less land available to expand rice-growing areas with competing demands from urbanization and industrialization on existing rice lands and irrigation water, production increase should come from intensive agriculture in existing lands of favourable and less favourable areas. Pyricularia graminis-tritici, a new Pyricularia species causing wheat blast
Pyricularia oryzae is a species complex that causes blast disease on more than 50 species of poaceous plants. Pyricularia oryzae has a worldwide distribution as a rice pathogen and in the last 30 years emerged as an important wheat pathogen in southern Brazil. We conducted phylogenetic analyses using 10 housekeeping loci for 128 isolates of P. oryzae sampled from sympatric populations of wheat,...

Species of Pyricularia (magnaporthe-like sexual morphs) are responsible for major diseases on grasses. Pyricularia oryzae (sexual morph Magnaporthe oryzae) is responsible for the major disease of rice called rice blast disease, and foliar diseases of wheat and millet, while Pyricularia grisea (sexual morph Magnaporthe grisea) is responsible for foliar diseases of Digitaria. Magnaporthe salvinii...
متن کاملبررسی عکس العمل گیاه Parl. Aeluropus littoralis به قارچهای مهم بیماریزای برنج در استان مازندران
Aeluropus littoralis belong to poaceae family. It often grows in salty soils. In this study reaction of A. littoralis to rice pathogens (Pyricularia grisea, Rhizoctonia solani and Bipolaris oryzae) was investigated at greenhouse and field conditions under artificial inoculation. These three mentioned fungi were isolated from rice plants and then propagated and separately inoculated on Aeluropus...
متن کاملMultiple rice microRNAs are involved in immunity against the blast fungus Magnaporthe oryzae.
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are indispensable regulators for development and defense in eukaryotes. However, the miRNA species have not been explored for rice (Oryza sativa) immunity against the blast fungus Magnaporthe oryzae, the most devastating fungal pathogen in rice production worldwide. Here, by deep sequencing small RNA libraries from susceptible and resistant lines in normal conditions and upon...
متن کاملStudy of Biochemical and Molecular Changes of Iranian Rice Cultivars in Interaction with Bacterial Pathogen Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae Causes Leaf Blight Disease
Rice bacterial blight caused by Xanthamonos oryzae pv. oryzae is one of the most destructive bacterial diseases of rice in some areas of rice cultivation in the world, especially in the tropics of Asia. The low efficiency of disease management methods, especially chemical methods, has led to more research on recognizing resistant cultivars and understanding resistance mechanisms through the stu...
